As for issues, I found two important items: (1) Channel 13 seems to have a mind of it's own; it will randomly indicate input (even when nothing is connected) and almost sounds like some sort of power cycle/hum. It also seems to respond somewhat to input from other channels (bleedthrough). When connected to an input, it seems to function fine until the slider is moved to +10dB, at which point it goes into a feedback loop of some kind (just as it would without an input). (2) The Group 5 slider doesn't seem to function properly, in that: if moved out of minus infinity it seems to jump (in audible level) to about 0dB (regardless of where the slider is) until it passes 0dB, at which point it seems to function normally up through +10dB.One last minor note is that Channel 41 sounds a little staticky/crackly while actively moving the slider, but works as expected when stationary. Now, I didn't open the panel at all (to examine the internal components), so it's very possible that these issues are simple to repair/maintenance; but for the time being: they remain.
For the testing process, I used an XLR input (microphone) and then tested output via the front headphone jack, as well as the rear XLR outputs (Channels 1-48, Mono, Master L and R, Groups 1-8, and Matrices 1-4); there were a few other specialty IO jacks that I didn't test. Finally, the panel and case weigh-in around 290 pounds (the case is wheeled, by the way).Pick-up is free, of course. Should I deliver to you, I will gladly stick around for an hour or two to allow you time to set up the panel and perform your own cursory examination/testing, just to avoid any surprises/issues.
