Some of them might look MINT in the pictures but I dont want to be on the hook for it so please be aware that some items may have scratches, dings, smudges, stripped or missing screws, scratchy pots and other misc. Some of the items have seen little use and are in great shape but a lot of it is stuff that would ideally be bought by someone who would take the time to giving it a good servicing.Hopefully, I have priced it accordingly. If youve come this far, I would assume you know what you are looking at. If theres something about this unit you can educate me on, let me know.
Thanks for looking and I appreciate your patience if youve read through this completely. I have about a dozen audio consoles I will be listing this week. These consoles came from installs that went away, wholesale lots that I bought out, things I bought for a future project that went nowhere and our own inventory that we are retiring from service.
I should have done this a few years ago, this stuff has been sitting in storage for quite a while. Earlier this year, I brought in a couple guys who spent several days going through all of these. We ran a combination of CD Signal and a 58 through each channel verifying channel functions and routed signal through all the console's Aux Sends, Sub Groups, Matrices and Master Section functions. They exercised static from controls when it came up, De-Oxit'd buttons and switches when needed and cleaned up dirty faders when they came across them.Scratchy Pots, Static from Buttons and Switches, dead channels, ribbon cable issues.... Having stated all of this, the majority of these consoles were working pretty well. But that's not to say that these common problems might not come up again. These consoles have been cleaned up.
They look pretty good in the photos but that's not to say they don't show their age. They may have scratches and scuffs that can't be seen in the photos. Knobs and Faders Caps could be damaged or cracked and screws may be missing from the chassis.
Again this is all par for the course with consoles of this age. Soundcraft Spirit Monitor2 Monitor Console - 40 Mono Inputs; 8 Mono Aux Sends an 2 Stereo Aux Sends. I bought this new for an install in a small seasonal theater... It did roughly 30 to 40 shows a season for the past 20 years or so. Short of some static in a few controls that we couldn't exercise clean, everything on this console is presently working.
This comes with some console lights, PSU and road case. The road case was custom made by Caravan Cases. These consoles generally lie flat.
The case has some depth built into it that sits the console on an angle for better visibility. The doghose has a welded metal inner frame and the console lights are built into the lids. I have the original paperwork that came with the console when I bought it.This is set for local pick-up only. The item "Soundcraft Spirit Monitor2 40x12 Monitor Console withPSU and Road case EXC COND" is in sale since Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
